On the 22nd and 23rd of January 2018 the project KET4CleanProduction was kicked off with a meeting of the consortium at the premises of Hahn-Schickard in Stuttgart, Germany.
During the two day meeting 20 partner, 13 leading KET Technology Centres (TC) and 7 members of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) from 18 different European countries met together to discuss and act on the implementation of the project, that aims to improve the access for manufacturing SMEs to technological services for clean production across Europe.
The project intends to create an open innovation ecosystem bringing together SMEs, KET TC and EEN organizations. During the next three years, SMEs together with KET TCs will have the opportunity to develop cross-border cooperation project apply for micro grants of EUR 50.000. As of the next year, KET Technology Centres and EEN partners beyond the project consortium are welcome to register and offer their services on the KET4CP platform.
