A key goal of the KET4CP program is to enable EU SMEs to be able to access the technical expertise and resources within KETs in the EU. Currently the process of matching the needs of SMEs with the best KET resources as served manually by the KET4CP project. To speed up the process and move towards a sustainable model, an automated matching tool has been designed for the KET4CP platform. The tool takes a problem input form created by an SME and by matching against technology capability and preferences such as location, TRL level and others recommends KET centres that may be suitable. It then forwards the SME problem statement to the KETs selected by the SME. The SME and chosen KETs can then communicate directly to set up an assistance project.
