Trixel®, the world’s smallest RGB laser beam scanner

An optical device for innovative displays (e.g. for Augmented Reality applications) was developed by the Austrian SME Trilite Technologies. Thereby ultra-compact RGB laser modules as well as miniaturized active mirrors were integrated in a very compact housing by the use of the advanced manufacturing technology for Molded Interconnect Devices (MID). Hahn-Schickard provided technological support along the whole development process from the design phase up to the production of a small series of trixels for a prototype application.
