Welcome to the first KET4CleanProduction Newsletter, a quarterly edition focusing on Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) and cooperation opportunities among Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and KET Technology Centres.
The EU-funded project KET4CleanProduction aims to help SMEs tackle their clean production challenges while being innovative, competitive and sustainable. By encouraging the use of advanced manufacturing technologies and related key enabling technologies, the production processes are expected to upgrade towards a more energy and material efficient state.

Diagnostic system for the end control of electronically commutated motors
A diagnostic system for the end control of electronically commutated motors and a configurable end-quality control line for electronically commutated (EC) blowers have been developed and delivered to the Slovenian company Domel a global supplier of EC systems and components specially for vacuum units. The technology is being further commercialized in a spin-out company (Vibteh, d.o.o.) of Jozef Stefan Institute.
